Cocktails and Mocktails

Last weekend we were lucky enough to get my brother Bryan and his fiance Reese to watch Caden for the night while we went to a party at The Gentry's house. Adam is one of Justin's closest friends in dental school, and we have really enjoyed getting to know him and his wife Kirstin over the past few years. As you will see from the pictures below, Kirstin is incredibly creative and crafty. Seriously, this girl is amazing!

Every year they throw this party called Cocktails and Mocktails where people enter a drink to compete in three categories: best taste, best presentation, most original. Although Justin and I made a really cute, delicious drink, we did not win:( This was our first year participating, but we are excited to come up with something new for next year! There was some pretty amazing stuff.......

The winner for most original - Pappy's Peach Cobbler. It tasted EXACTLY like peach cobbler...yum!

Justin's 2nd favorite for taste... 20,000 Leagues Under the Influence:)

The overall winner for taste and presentation - Italian Sunshine. It was SO delicious! I didn't get a picture in the dark, but it had lights!

My favorite part of the whole night - the donut hole bar! Adam made all of the donut holes! Many of you know how much I LOVE donuts....I was in heaven:)

Justin and three of his BFF's (Mike, Adam, Jonathan). They didn't even plan to wear matching outfits!There are two other guys Greg and Jason who round out the bunch, but they couldn't make it:(

It was a super fun night with lots of delicious drinks and food. We can't wait until next year! If you have any great cocktail recipes, let us know:)
