2 Years and 4 months

One of the benefits of having Caden and Andie exactly 20 months apart is that their check-ups fall on the same date! We took them to see Dr. Mercer at Arvada Pediatrics today.....

ANDIE @ 4 Months

Andie is such a happy little girl! She squeals with delight every time we go to get her out of her crib. She also giggles when being tickled under the chin, and when Justin rubs his hands together (like he is starting a fire) right in front of her face. Her fine motor skills are amazing! She grabs toys, passes them back and forth between her hands, and puts her pacifier into her mouth. She rolls over when she feels like it and tolerates tummy time for about 5 minutes at a time. She loves to lift her head up and do baby push-ups. Andie also really likes sitting in her bumbo. She is drooling like crazy and puts everything into her mouth! Justin doesn't see any sign of teeth just yet. She is about done with her size 2 diapers and fitting nicely into 6 month clothing, which by the way I am having SO much fun shopping for! She had three shots and an oral vaccine today:( Here are her official stats from her 4 month visit.....

Height = 25.5 inches (90th percentile)

Weight = 15 pounds, 5.5 ounces (74th percentile)    

Head Circumference = 15.75 inches (14th percentile)

Oh how I wish the schedules worked every day! It seems like every day one of the kids is off, but we try:)

CADEN @ 2 Years

Caden is definitely in the stage that some have labeled "terrible twos." Overall, he is still our sweet little wild man, but he likes to use the words "no" and "nope" REALLY frequently! He also has a tantrum about once a day - sometimes in public...ugh. He likes to make his own decisions - hence the outfit in the picture above:) He is really into wearing his snow boots.....even thought it was 70 degrees! His vocabulary is continuing to grow every day. He LOVES reading, playing with Andie, trucks, playing snowmobiles with Dad, riding his new bikes, playing hide and seek, taking baths, going to Home Depot (D2), the museum (Space Oddyssey is still his fav), and zoo. He is AWESOME at his pleases, thank you's, and I Love you's. Favorite foods - yogurt, oatmeal, berries, beans, CHEESE, carrots (cooked but not mushy), broccoli, pizza, goldfish, rice, and quinoa. When Justin told him we were going to the doctor today he replied "Dr. Seuss?"....LOVE this kid! He got one shot today and didn't even cry! Here are his stats from his visit today...

Height = 34.5 inches (75th percentile)

Weight = 25.8 pounds (22nd percentile)

BMI = 15.5 (10-25th percentile)

Blood Pressure = 90/64

There can never be enough pics of Dad and the littles:) Caden is definitely playing on his LeapPad.....this baby is a life saver in situations like this!
