Justin worked SO hard to ensure that I had a fantastic Mother's Day. He is seriously SO thoughtful! I woke to this wonderful site:)
Caden helped me open my gift - a new stand mixer! My Kitchen Aid died during the coconut cream cake fiasco and let's face it, I LOVE to bake. I am super excited to use this new one! Don't worry, Cado is not cross-eyed, he just really likes to look at his thumb!
Our little family of four went for a run together....
Then we had some of my side of the family over for brunch/lunch:) Great Grandma and Andie!
LOVE our little family!
Nicky was SO helpful....doing all the dishes!
From this DELICIOUS food! TT made an egg scramble (with some chopping help from Bry, Reesie, and Nicky), I made the monkey bread (with some biscuit cutting help from Nicky), my mom made the fruit dip, and Bry and Reesie brought mimosas!
Cado flying with TT!
The whole gang!
Four generations:)
Andie got Great Grandma's nose:)!
Winding down for nap time. Cado borrowed Andie's headband for the moment....he is in a phase where everything is "mine!"
Then Justin's family came over for dinner:) Being silly with Auntie Manda!
Snuggling Grams!
Smutz Ladies! Justin insisted that we take the picture outside, looking into the sun....hence the squinting:)
Showing Grams his "five"
Little miss!
Two weeks ago we took the kids to "Into the Fire", a pottery studio in Olde Town Arvada and made serving dishes for Omi and Grams.
Finished product!
We are grateful beyond words for our mothers and grandmothers!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
