Caden and all of the other littles are called "tigers" so there is some white on their colored belts:) He took the test with about 15 other kids on Saturday.
My flash reflected off the door fame, but I loved this pic of him looking around. There are usually only four other kids in his class so this was a big group!
Most of the other kids are 4 and 5 - hence the reason Cado looks so tiny!
Caden and his classmates (Jackson, Trenton, and Holston)
Getting his yellow belt from Master Albrechtson. He is the third highest ranking black belt in the midwest region, and he LOVES to teach the tigers! He has SO much patience with them!
Caden is becoming more articulate every day! He is learning lots! He is obsessed with space right now and will tell you that he lives on earth, Neptune is blue, Make-Make is his favorite dwarf planet, and our sun is a medium-hot star:) He is still gobbling the usual suspects - mac and cheese, oatmeal, partially frozen Chobani Champion yogurt tubes, and his new craze is peaches. He literally ate four the other day! He is drinking 2% milk with his meals (we moved it from before nap and before bed). While Andie takes her morning nap, Caden and I do "school". He mastered his number and letter recognition about a year ago, and is great with colors and shapes. Now we are working on counting and letter sounds. He is doing really well with the chore chart I made for him! He "makes his bed" and brushes his teeth twice a day so that's why there is a dash:)
