3

Caden is three. Seriously, I can't believe that our little man will be going to preschool in the fall! Here are his official stats from his appointment:

Height - 37.75 inches ( 60th percentile)
Weight - 29.6 pounds ( 25th percentile)
Body Mass Index - 14.5 (10th percentile)

Caden is SO sweet to Andie! They play really well together - most of the time:) He LOVES being around other kids and has made a great friend, Mason, that lives just two houses down. They ride their scooters, motorized vehicles, jump on the tramp, and play tractors all day long! Mason is four and will hopefully be in Caden's preschool class next fall! Caden would live outside if we let him! Playing in the snow (in the winter), and now with the hose and dirt keeps him busy for hours. He still LOVES to read. Caden talks and understand REALLY well so it's fun to have conversations with him. He loves to sing, dance, play trucks and trains, and build with anything you give him. Here is his current schedule:

Caden loves oatmeal, frozen and fresh blueberries, apples, applesauce, kids Cliff bars, zucchini, macaroni and cheese, carrots, Pirate's Booty, pineapple, yogurt, rice, pizza, quinoa, fruit snacks, CHEESE and chocolate. He still like Space Odyssey and the introduction video at the Dinosaur exhibit best at the museum. The elephants, rhinos, hippos, and lorikeets are his favorite at the zoo. He likes to hold Rosie the tarantula at the Butterfly Pavilion, but it still a little afraid of the butterflies landing on his head. Caden likes to climb and slide at the park, but swinging is still his favorite. He has his rough moments (longer, more drawn out temper tantrums a few times a week), but is a super sweet boy most of the time. He is a great helper around the house - especially with Andie.

We potty trained Caden back in January using our own version of this method. We took him to Target where he picked out Spiderman, Ninja Turtle, and Jake and the Neverland Pirate underwear. Justin REALLY wanted to do the first day so he used his phone timer an some treats and it went great The first day we put Caden in pull-ups at nap and bed time, but then we decided to try him without them and he hasn't had an accident at nap or bedtime since! He is doing AWESOME and we are so glad that we waited until he was ready.
First day in man underwear!
