I have known my friend Jamie since 4th grade. She is incredibly intelligent, kind, and hilarious. When Leah and I found out she was pregnant with her second child we asked if she was going to find out the gender (they didn't with their first, Ethan). Jamie's husband Alex wanted to know but Jamie said she would find out only if she could have a reveal party. Creative/crafty Leah and I insisted that we put it together! Jamie is a PA and Alex is a pharmacist. Leah is a Biochemist with access to glassware and lab coats.....and so the science gender reveal was born!
The reveal laboratory! All of the guests guessed the gender and Jamie and Alex chose one name out of the winning gender flask for a prize!

Jamie called us from the ultrasound and had the tech tell us the gender the night before. Leah and I were SO excited and felt so privileged to know the gender of their sweet little one before anyone else! Leah put together a little acid-base reaction for the reveal......GIRL!!!!!
