The Flip Flop

Sorry if that picture grosses you out, but this needs to be documented for when Andie gets older....

On the morning of Thursday August 13 Andie came to me and asked me where the other red flip flop was. I said I don't know and asked her if she knew where it was. She replied "I think it's up my nose." Justin and I didn't believe her at first, but it came out of nowhere so I made an appointment with our doctor. She insisted all morning that the flip flop was up her nose so I grabbed the other one to see if it would fit. It seemed much larger than her tiny nostril and I decided that there was no way that it was up there so I cancelled the appointment. We didn't hear about the flip flop again. Until.....

Saturday September 12 Andie came running to me and said "I found the other flip flop, come see!" I followed her to her room where she pointed to a little red flip flop COVERED in boogers. I asked where it came from and she said very matter of fact "I sneezed and it just came out." Seriously, Andie had this little red flip flop in her nose for more than four weeks. Moral of the story is that you should probably believe your child when they tell you a crazy story! And kids can fit all kinds of fun stuff up their noses:)
