Ashlyn

My cousin Jason and his wife Lindsey's youngest daughter Ashlyn went to be with Jesus on March 4, 2018 after complications following her third open-heart surgery. Ashlyn was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and therefore spent a portion of her short life in the PICU at Rocky Mountain Children's hospital. Throughout her time there, the doctors and nurses fell in love with her and her family. Many of the staff attended Ashlyn's memorial service to continue loving on Jason and Lindsey. Ashlyn was such a special part of our family. Our last fun memory with Ashlyn was cousin cookie day at our house. Ashlyn carefully decorated her cookie, ate a few bites, then fell asleep on Jason while six VERY loud kids were running around her. She was a fighter and so loved by all that met her <3 p="">
