Summer is a time that both Justin and I look forward to every year. I have some time off from work to catch up on sleep and run and Justin is easily distracted by any outdoor activity and planning the Smutz camp-a-thon.
The summer of 2010 has been extra special because it was the time we decided to start trying to expand our family. With good fortune on our side our first Baby Smutz started to grow in June! There are few events that will change your life forever and the day we found out that we were pregnant with little Baby Smutz was one of them. There were the obvious feelings of excitement accompanied with the not-so-expected Justin dancing around the house exclaiming he was the man. Not one of his most modest moments!
The past few months have been a blast looking at all the neat baby equipment and reading about the development of Baby Smutz as each week progressed. Sometimes when we were in the stores I couldn’t tell if Justin was more excited about all the toys for the baby or the toys for himself! We couldn’t be happier at this time and are really looking forward to our first visit with the doctor at 9 weeks.
