Caden is making us smile like crazy! He is still crawling all over the place and getting into everything. He particularly likes the pantry. Caden likes to pull out the metal water bottles and chase them around on the wood floors. He also loves to dump out straws and plastic spoons and play with them:) His latest trick is doing a mini pull-up on the second shelf in the pantry. He literally pulls himself up so that his little feet just dangle. Caden definitely got his upper body strength from his Dad!
He also got his love for chocolate chips from Justin:) I'm sure he will like them even more once he actually eats one!
Caden turned 8 months old last week. It's seriously crazy how fast the time has gone! I was looking through the hundreds of pictures we have from his birth and his first few weeks and I cannot believe how much he has grown! Unofficial size update: Caden weighs about 17 pounds right now which means he is between the 5th and 10th percentile. He is about 29.5 inches long which puts him in the 90th-95th percentile for his age. Not much change, we still have a long, skinny little man!
Caden is also fiercely trying to be as independent as possible:)
This boy is still loving his baths. We just can't get enough of our wet little man!
This closed-eye, gummy smile comes out when we tell him to smile for the camera:)
Since he is so tall, he has outgrown his infant bath. A few weeks ago we moved him into the tub. We had to buy a spout cover and a no-slip mat first.
We also bought this really cool thing called a frog pod. It makes rinsing and storing his bath toys a breeze - highly recommended! Plus it's cute! I took this picture after I dumped his toys into the bath, but you get the idea:)
