15 Months

The little man just turned 15 months:) We took him to the doctor where he had to get three shots - I am always super thankful for Justin's presence at these appointments! Here are the stats from his Fifteen Month Checkup:

Height = 32.25 inches (80th percentile)

Weight = 19 Pounds, 15 ounces (5th percentile)

Head Circumference = 17.87 inches (15th percentile)

Caden grew more than 2 inches since his last appointment! He is a busy little man! These lists are more for us as we print these blog posts in a book that act as our family scrapbook, but read on if you want to know what the little monkey is up to these days..... 

Favorite Activities:

 

Caden loves making friends at the parks!

Sometimes Caden has to go looking for the water!

Caden often uses one of his favorite phrases... "I don't Know"

• Swinging (seriously, he will swing at the park for over an hour)!

NO FEAR!

• Climbing on furniture. He even moves his toys so that he can use them to get onto the couches. 
• Running! Caden no longer walks to his destinations - he runs. Everywhere. 
• Dancing. Anytime music comes on, he starts moving!
• Waving and saying "hi" to EVERYONE he sees. 
• Going to the Zoo and park....especially the parks with the water spouts!
• Giggle with his Daddy while they wrestle around and tickle each other. 
• Reading. We have story time before his nap and bedtime. He likes to turn the pages in his books:)
• Help Justin and I with any projects around the house.

The Smutz Men helping fix the light in our Kitchen! Caden had a little run-in with a steep slide that gave him a black eye and this scrape:( He is such a wild little man!

Caden put his snake in Mom's purse!

Caden can point to the following body parts (on himself or us) when asked:

• Head
• Chest
• Ear
• Eye
• Nose
• Teeth
• Tongue
• Feet
• Belly Button

Caden is still doing his sign language for more and food. He is also doing pretty good with his listening:)

• He will hold up one finger if you ask him how old he is
• He will go get his shoes from his closet is we ask, and put them back.
• He will run and climb into the glider when we tell him it's story time
• He can point to the mouse on ever page in his penguin book, and Nemo on every page in that book 

Caden was still afraid of this bird. The bird tried to eat Caden the first time we took him to the zoo when he was 3 months old!

Caden absolutely LOVES the Tropical Discovery! Here he is looking at the sea turtle:)

Caden is working on his animal noises. Right now his favorite is the snake hiss. He can also do dog, horse, cow, sheep, lion:) We are so proud of Caden and just loving this stage!!!
