Busy!

School started for me so we have been pretty busy around here! This year I have to teach WAY more live classes than last year so we had to get creative with our childcare:) On Tuesdays, Auntie Carissa watches Caden while I teach. On Wednesdays Justin takes an extra long lunch hour, and on Thursdays my Poppi and Uncle Bry entertain the little ball of energy on their lunch hour:) We are SO thankful for all of the help! Here are a few pictures from Caden's week.....

Eating a frozen french fry at Omi and Poppi's

Drawing on the whiteboard with Poppi

Driving the boxes from our Costco groceries

Breakfast with Dad....cream cheese face!

Playing with Mom's teaching headset

Eating sunflower seeds with Dad....such a little man!

Our good friend's, the Gentry's had a birthday party for their daughter Piper. The theme was "Sprinkles". Kirsten is AMAZINGLY talented at party planning.....

Caden with a sprinkle balloon

The kids were supposed to "sprinkle" the plants with water but Caden "sprinkled" himself

Then licked the sprinkles right off one of the glasses

Having fun in Dad's glasses:)

Caden is still LOVING trucks! He is also very fond of trains (thanks to Poppi). His vocabulary is growing LIKE CRAZY - he learns a few new words every day! Caden is such a little parrot! Some of the new words he learned this week are: bus, plane, sky, Smutz, and tree. Caden is getting really good with his letters as well. He recognizes A,C,D,E,H,O,T,X, and Y. We are working on numbers - he is good at 1,2,and 9:)

Baby Sissy is 30 weeks - she is about 15.7 inches long and weighs around 3 pounds. She is a wild woman! Seriously, she tries to bust out of my belly at least a few times a day. Caden is still loving "Sissy", kissing her goodnight and good morning. I am definitely carrying her high - for the first time in my life I got heartburn:( I woke Justin up in the middle of the night because I didn't know what was going on! I'm still having trouble sleeping which makes for a tired Mom, but I am getting a lot of school work done in the early morning hours:)

Justin is LOVING work. The other day we were talking about what we would do if we won the lottery (which is ridiculous because we don't even play) and he said he wouldn't change a thing about his job! We are very thankful that he found such a great practice to join.....I will post pics of Dr. Smutz and his practice soon!
