Happy Halloween:)

This year Caden was a turtle for Halloween:) We definitely got our money's worth on this costume! We bought it mid-October and he wore it ALL.THE.TIME. He would have us put it on then say "picture" because he knew we couldn't resist! Other than the days that he just randomly wore the costume, Caden dressed up for Trick-or-Treat Street at Home Depot on 10/27, Orange party at Grams and Papa Smutz' on 10/28, trick-or-treat Street at Ralston Valley High School on 10/29, and Toddler Time at the library and trick-or-treating on 10/31. That turtle costume got good use!

Trick-or-treat street at Ralston. Caden will likely be a Mustang one day so Grams and I took him to check out the school while Dad and Papa Smutz picked up our new furniture! He made out like a bandit! We were only there for 15 minutes and his pumpkin was full!

On Halloween our friends the Gentry's came over for dinner and trick-or-treating. Burke was a squid and Piper was the ocean - too cute! Their Mom is SUPER crafty and made their adorable little costumes!

Like any outing with Caden, trick-or-treating was an adventure. After just a few houses he decided he could speed up the process by running full speed across one lawn right to the next door. In case you haven't seen it, this kid is FAST! Seriously, he is SO quick! We got a lot of laughs from other parents who thought it was cute.....and were probably really glad it wasn't them having to chase the little speedster:) He was very sweet and said "treat please" and "thank you".....good enough for us!
