Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter! It's always tricky to schedule time to spend with both sides of our family. We are blessed that our families are willing to come to us/work around nap time:) Unfortunately little kids are unpredictable and both kids fought naps this afternoon so we had to leave G!G!'s earlier than we would have liked:( Luckily G!G! packed our delicious desserts to go!

We dyed eggs yesterday, Caden LOVED it. I bought a kit that included materials to make egg monsters and he couldn't get enough of them!

He wasn't loving the dyed hands....luckily it washed off easily:)!

Some of the finished product:) We also "hid" the eggs that we colored and when Caden found the green one he said "D-A-D, Dad" Justin and I just looked at each other in shock! Caden knows all of his letters but we aren't sure where/when he learned to read/spell??? It was awesome and made Justin's week!

Easter morning was just the four of us:) Caden hunted for eggs after finding his present from the Easter bunny - a grocery cart. He is OBSESSED with play grocery cart at Target so we knew he needed one for home:) Omi and Poppi bought him play food and cookware for Easter to go along with his house and grocery cart!

The Easter bunny brought Andie some new flowers for her head and sleepers since she is getting SO tall!

LOVE this face:) Yes, he was eating M&M's and jelly beans at 7am....Justin vetoed my idea to put berries and cheerios in his eggs like last year.

Omi, Poppi, Uncle Bry, and Aunt Reesie came over for brunch:) I made a coconut cream pie (Eater colors) and monkey bread. My mom made a yummy egg dish and Bry and Reesie brought delicious fruit that Caden gobbled up!

It took about a million shots just to get all four of us looking at the camera!
