5 months and 25 months

These two just LOVE each other! Caden runs into Andie's room first thing every morning and nap time, and she squeals with delight at the sight of him! He loves to snuggle, hug, and kiss her goodnight:) LOVE.

Bathtime bonding:)

ANDIE

Our little girl is doing great! Her schedule is pretty much the same as it was at 4 months, except she has been taking shorter morning naps (thanks to her LOUD brother) and taking a short snooze in the car on the way home from our outings. She has also been waking at least twice per night....she was only waking once so I am hoping to go back to that soon! Andie is rolling like crazy and even "scooches" on her tummy. She has sat up a few times but not consistently. Andie loves to giggle and put anything she can get her hands on into her mouth!
Eating Caden's lizard in the tub

We tried rice cereal about 3 weeks ago because Andie was grabbing for everything and seemed interested in eating.....Not so much. She didn't know how to swallow so we are going to try again this weekend:)

Andie SERIOUSLY loves the jumperoo, just like Caden did:) She just started bouncing all over the place last week!

This girl has SO many cute outfits! I REALLY love dressing her:) Notice a theme with the white onesie and leggings....she has several of each. It's too cold to just wear the dresses, but I also like to keep her dressed modestly Sounds funny for a baby, but you should see how revealing the clothes can be! I know, I am getting old.

Auntie Mana and Uncle Nonni watched the kids while we went on a date night to Salt Grass Steakhouse (AMAZING desserts) and to see the movie Admission with Tina Fey and Paul Rudd:)

Snuggles from Omi:) Justin went to ride the new Summit Rev snowmobile in Steamboat for a weekend with Uncle Bry and Papa Smutz so Omi and Poppi came over to help me out:)

CADEN

Caden's vocabulary continues to increase by the day! He now says "no thanks" instead of no all the time.....progress:) However, he has adapted the phrase "I need" and puts it in front of EVERYTHING! "I need Christmas PJ's", "I need fresh milky", etc. We are working on "I would like" but he does not like that one as much:)

Knock on wood - Caden has been eating really well lately. His favorites are cheese, grapes, guacamole, strawberries, mac and cheese, and Cheerios. Justin taught Caden to eat "cereal like a man" so that is his request just about every morning. It just means eating cereal out of a bowl with milk and a spoon. It's a pretty messy event at this point, and gets knocked over at least once a week, but he is learning!

Cado loves pretty much all produce. Today at the grocery store he took bites out of an organic apple (expensive taste), corn on the cob, zucchini, tomato, and a green bean. I realize this is kind of weird and will need to stop at some point, but buying the bitten items is just easier right now:)

His napping is inconsistent - usually about 4 or 5 times per week.  The bobcat and backhoe working on the house at the end of our block can be seen out his window so that isn't helping our cause! He is really into giving the softest little kisses to Justin, Andie, and I...SO SWEET! Caden's obsession with motorized vehicles (snowmobiles, ATV's) has intensified over the past few weeks..... wonder where he gets that???

Still loves his baths:)

My cousin Nicky got these stylin shades for Cado for his birthday:) Caden likes to rock the aviators to look cool like his Uncle Bry:)

Cool dude! And a mini snickers bar for taking a nap....we are all about the positive reinforcement:)

Hangin with Auntie Mana!

Stylin in the new Puma shoes Aunt Reesie and Uncle Bry gave him for his birthday:)

Cruising with Grams!
