4th of July at the Smutz Cabin!

 We headed up to the Smutz family cabin on July 4 for some fun, fireworks, and family! We had a great weekend......

Grams and Papa bought the kids the cutest "moose caboose" pajamas and Caden showed them off while riding his horse like he is taught at Taekwando!

Grams and Papa kept this little lady in their room - THANK YOU!!! They were so sweet about her waking them up early and twice in the middle of the night the last night:)

Caden dressed for the fireworks at Grand Lake - it was a little chilly and I didn't pack properly, so we layered him up! The fireworks didn't start until 10:00 - 2.5 hours past his bedtime. As soon as they started, he started crying and said "I want to go home"! He really liked the little ones on the ground prior to the big show, so maybe it was a combination of the loud noise and being overtired! 

Out like a light....almost! We carried him into his room, and thought he was asleep for good. However, not less than one minute after we all went upstairs to chat did Caden come up with the biggest smile on his face and said "hey guys!"

Little man all ready for the Columbine Lake parade and picnic (held on Saturday). Yes, we did wash the 4th of July outfits so they could be re-worn!

The food at the picnic was awesome! Caden was much more interested in the lake...

We ran into my good friend Jamie, her son Ethan, and her parents. Her aunt also recently bought a house at Columbine Lake and she spotted us in the parade!

Going on a moose hunt with Grams, Papa, and Dad the last night. I put Andie to bed and took a relaxing bath in the AMAZING jacuzzi tub! I used to LOVE baths and hadn't taken one since before Caden was born so it was awesome!
