Halloween 2015

We had a lot of super fun Halloween event this year! Our festivities started on the 23rd with Truck-or-Treat at Caden's preschool. This year we decided to do a trunk and Caden picked the theme - construction! As with everything he does, Justin went ALL OUT. He had real power tools in the trunk, construction sounds blaring, a workbench, and costume to match:)

Laura, Landen, Mike, Justin, and Andie near our trunk

Andie and our other neighbor Cayleigh, who is in Caden's class. This is after about 10 pieces of candy for our little girl.....

The next Friday was Caden's school Halloween party!  Thanks to G!G! for staying at our house while Andie and Landen napped so that both Justin and I could go to the party! It started with the parade....

His BFF Alexis is the black cat:)

Best buds!

Candy corn number BINGO!

Monster craft!

Cookie decorating!

More icing than cookie....just like Daddy:)

YUM!

Such a good little sharer:)

Pumpkin bowling for ghosts!

We carved and painted pumpkins on Halloween. Landen was just a little excited:)

Andie colored on hers with markers:)

Sketching out the designs for carving....

Pulling out the guts!

And of course this little guy ate some pumpkin!

Pumpkin painting! And trying to keep Landen from touching Caden and Andie's creation:)

We had dinner and trick-or-treated with our neighbors (The Vigil's and Valpatic's). Our princess, dragon, and astronaut ready to go! Caden had a costume change after dripping Q'Doba queso on his fireman costume. He wore this costume 2 years ago....it was expensive so I bought it really big and now it fits perfectly! :)

Landen can walk, but he cruised in the wagon while the adults enjoyed their beverages:) Our neighborhood is awesome.....very serious about decorations and lots of little kids! Most the of the adults we saw were enjoying beverages as they walked with their kids....there was even a haunted house with an open bar for the adults!

Mrs. Laura pulling Landen

After we reached the end of our street I brought Landen home. He was the happiest little dragon!:)

Then we built a fire and roasted s'mores with the candy:)

Justin's final pumpkin. He free-handed this in about 10 minutes because the kids were done pumpkin carving....pretty impressive skills!

Joe having fun!

These guys are hilarious! This is about 10 beers in for each one....they were feeling pretty good:)

The next day we had an amazing spooky lunch at Grams and Papa's house! Seriously, Grams found every cute Halloween food that you could think of and she and Papa executed everything perfectly!

Papa and Landimal

Mummy pizza, jack-o-lantern pizza, spider deviled eggs, skull cauliflower, spider web 7 layer dip, jack-o-lantern cuties, and there were cute mummy jalapeno poppers and white chocolate covered banana ghosts that are not pictured!

Andie helping Grams with the mummy jalapeno poppers!

Landen starting the meal!

Caden hanging with Uncle Nonni!

Auntie Carissa, Auntie Mana, G!G!, and Uncle Drew. This was the only picture I have with all of them, and the last picture we have of Auntie Mana pregnant:)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
