Christmas Morning

Christmas morning is always a special time for our family and it gets more fun the older the kids get! Santa usually brings one bigger present for the family and Dad and Mom (mostly Dad) go a little overboard on other gifts:) The kids also each have two stockings that get filled....one by us and one by Santa:) We also  continued our tradition of homemade cinnamon rolls and eggs:)

The view from the loft:)

We told the kids that they had to wait to go downstairs until we all went together and they did a great job listening:)  In years past, it has taken HOURS for them to open their gifts! Not because they had any more gifts, but just because it takes little kids forever to open one present! Justin was disappointed in how fast they were....he prefers the dragging on:)

Caden was the first one downstairs ready to separate the presents into piles! I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they opened all of their gifts.

Andie checked out the cookies and letter they'd left for Santa:)

Justin said that we needed a family picture on the new boating tube (the sombrero) before anyone opened any presents..... Caden wasn't wasting any time!

Love our little family!

Landen and Andie got started opening while Caden was still separating:)

Landen's favorite present was his tractor! He also got lots of books, monster trucks, glitter glue, shoes, and a Samsung Galaxy tablet.

And this drilling kit that he loves....despite the fact that his face says otherwise;)

Andie got a lot of things for her art center (marker maker, paint maker, stamps, stickers, glitter, sequins, paint, stencils), lots of books, clothes, shoes, and and a Samsung Galaxy tablet. She REALLY enjoyed the cinnamon rolls!

Caden got a lot of Legos, books, shoes, clothes, and and a Samsung Galaxy tablet. His favorite was definitely the Legos - he spent a lot of winter break building all of his new sets and organizing them in his bedroom:)

Breakfast time:)
