11 Months and Running

Caden is 11 months today! Big news from the Smutz house: Caden started taking steps on his own (without our hands or the support of a walker/piece of furniture) last Saturday. It's so much fun to watch him navigate across the room. He doesn't stand up on his own yet, he still uses one of us or anything else that he can pull himself up on:)

Caden's unofficial 11 month measurements this morning:

Height = 29.5 inches (50th percentile)

Weight = 18 pounds (2nd Percentile)

Head Circumference = 18 inches (36th percentile)

Caden enjoyed the snowstorm last week. We had over 20 inches of snow so we took Caden sledding several times. Caden especially enjoyed his sledding trip with his Dad and Papa Smutz on Super Bowl Sunday:) He just loves sledding. We can't go fast enough! Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures of our excursions in the snow, but here are some other cute pics of the little guy.

Caden wanted a beard like his dad so he made one for himself out of suds:)

Caden loves to close doors. While I was making dinner he shut himself into his room and this is what I saw when I went to rescue him:)

We are looking forward to Caden's first birthday in a month! HAPPY 11 months little man:)
