12 Months

We took Caden for his 12 month appointment while Justin was on Spring Break (more about all the Spring Break fun that we had in a later post). I am so thankful that Justin makes such an effort to make it to Caden's appointments. It would be really tough to get through those shots without Justin there! Caden's 12 month stats......

Height = 30 inches (51st Percentile)

Weight = 18 pounds 8.2 ounces (3rd Percentile)

Head Circumference = 17.8 inches (20th Percentile)

Caden is walking/running all over the place. He learned to open doors this week which adds a whole new dimension. We used to just shut the doors to the bathrooms so that Caden wouldn't un-roll the toilet paper, empty the trash, or play in the toilet.....no longer a sufficient strategy! Caden enjoys feeding himself with a spoon, nod his head "yes" and shake it "no". He LOVES to chat! His favorite word is definitely "Da-da". He also says "ma-ma", "yes", and "go". He points to things and says "dat" and "dis" which we interpret as "that" and "this". Caden loves his baths, being outside, and eating! He still loves berries, cheese, guacamole, and yogurt. We are transitioning to Whole Milk and have successfully weaned him from the bottle:) A few cute pics from March.....

Um, yeah.....Caden was so excited to get into the bath, he jumped in with his clothes on:) 

  

Our dishwasher broke and while Justin was working on it, Caden went to his toy tool box, took out his screwdriver and brought it over to help Justin. No joke, it was too cute! I am SO thankful to have a handy husband (and son)!
