Happy 29th!

Justin's Birthday is October 4 and mine is the 13th so we have had some great celebrations the past few weeks! On Justin's actual birthday we made him cinnamon rolls before work and got him a special sandwich when he came home for lunch. Grams and Papa Smutz came over to help us celebrate for dinner with a Mexican Fiesta:) Caden and I got Justin the new EVO 4G phone that he has been wanting for months. He hasn't had much time to play with it, but he is really excited about all of the new features that he will get to explore once things settle down around here:)

Sunday the 7th Grams and Papa Smutz brought dinner over to our house for the family celebration. We had steak and baked potatoes with lots of other yummy sides. G!G! brought the desserts, which of course I had to take pictures of! She made Justin a homemade chocolate cake and me Strawberries in the snow pie...DELICIOUS!

On my real birthday the boys made me caramel rolls for breakfast and we went to Rock Creek Farm (this will get its own post in a few days). The boys got me a vanity for my birthday! I can't wait to use it:) After Caden's nap we went to Villa Napoli Pizza. It was AMAZING! Seriously, I consider myself a pizza connoisseur and this was one of, if not the best pizza I have ever had. Great restaurant choice Justin!

Sunday the 14th we went to Omi and Poppi's house to celebrate our birthdays. We had delicious beef with vegetable and potatoes (there was apparently a food theme this year!) along with many other sides. Omi made Justin his all-time favorite dessert (chocolate peanut butter bars). I have a thing with funfetti cupcakes and was craving them so this is what I requested, along with Blue Bell ice cream - YUM!

Now that I read back over my post, I realize how much we celebrate with food! Justin and I both love good food so it is only fitting:)

Greg, (Justin's good buddy from dental school) got married on Saturday the 6th. It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding! We had so much fun catching up with the new doctors and their wives:)

The happy couple:)

(four of the six - the groom was busy and Mike couldn't make it)

It's funny how something as intense as dental school can really bond people:) These guys just care about each other so much - it's cute! It's also been so fun to get to know their wives. I had such a great time catching up with Kirstin (Adam's wife) and Sarah Rose (Jason's wife). We all have small children and recently purchased homes so there was lots to talk about! Can't wait to see everyone again soon! Life-long friends for sure:)
