Moved!

Sorry we have been absent for a few weeks....thing have been a little busy around here! We bought a new house! We closed on September 28 and moved on September 29:) As you all know, moving is STRESSFUL. I am so blessed to have a husband who was super organized and well-planned. The move could not have gone more smoothly:) Justin did most of the packing.....he worked on it every night after Caden went to bed while I was working. He started more than a week before we moved so when moving day came we were ready to go. We are SO grateful to all of our family members who helped us move! We really couldn't have done it without you!

The new house!

The kitchen BEFORE the move....

The kitchen the morning after the big move....and our little man helping by sweeping the floors with a snow brush:)

Caden helped sweep out the moving truck:)

And did a few push-ups while he was at it:)

This kid LOVES trucks! Seriously, he could watch them ALL. DAY. LONG.

Our house is new, and there is still a lot of construction in our neighborhood. I know what you're thinking....urgh. For us, it's quite the opposite! We are thrilled to have the entertainment for Caden! Seriously, we take at least 3 walks around the neighborhood every day so that Caden can watch the "trucks". He LOVES to point out the Bobcats, diggers, dump trucks, and cement trucks. Seriously, this kid can't get enough of the action:) Plus those dumpsters have been really nice as we're unpacking!

The little monkey wanted to help Dad install a ceiling fan in the living room so he climbed the ladder....yikes! He's actually really stable and good at climbing the rungs, but it still makes me nervous!

Daddy's little helper:)

He laid one of Justin's beanies on his head and I had to take a picture...too cute!

35 weeks!

Time is FLYING by! Justin laughs because most weeks, I don't even know how far along I am. There is a lot going on right now (moving, work, Caden, growing baby Sissy...) but I might also be subconsciously trying to forget how little time we have until our little girl arrives! The nursery is an empty room full of bags from the shower and LOTS of really cute (unwashed) baby girl clothes. The good news is that the rest of the house is pretty much unpacked so I hope to get in there and get some clothes ready in the next week or so.

Apparently Baby Sissy has pretty much completed all of her physical development. She will spend the next few weeks putting on weight! She is approximately 18 inches long and 5.25 pounds. She is kicking/punching like CRAZY.....I think we have another wild child on our hands:)

We hope to find out whether she is head-down at our appointment this Friday. We are keeping our fingers crossed:) She feels SO different from Caden, so I am hopeful!
