WOW. Seriously can't believe our little miss is 6 months old already! Here she is digging her prunes:) We took her for her appointment today and here are her official stats:
Height - 26.5 inches (75th percentile)
Weight - 17 pounds, 5.2 ounces (67th percentile)
Weight - 17 pounds, 5.2 ounces (67th percentile)
Head Circumference - 16.25 inches (12th percentile)
Keeping herself entertained!:)
Trying to keep the wild man under control in a small room:)
Andie has tried peas, carrots, bananas, squash, pears, apples, prunes, and avocado. She has eaten it all, but is still trying to get the whole eating motion down....she likes to use her tongue to lap food! She's already getting pretty independent - she likes to hold her own spoon and bottle:)
The little lady is babbling like CRAZY and sits up like a champ. She doesn't mind tummy time anymore and will roll to get toys or see people. No sign of crawling for now:)
She sleeps from 7-7, waking up at least once a night, but eats and goes right back to sleep. She was doing great, but has had a bit of a regression with this silly May cold that she contracted:( She LOVES her brother. Seriously, these two are SO cute together. Cado still runs into her room first thing when he wakes up. One morning she started squaking while I was changing his diaper in the loft and he said "don't worry, I coming Sis!" He brings Andie the following items every time I go to put her down: a pacifier, blanket, book, and stuffed elephant. He tip toes around while collecting everything and whispers "shhhh" as he hands me each one.....LOVE that thoughtful little man!
BFF's!
Caden is still our sweet little man, but definitely has some terrible two moments! He likes to use the word "mine!" too often for our liking. His speech continues to amaze us. He asks "what's that" at LEAST 500 times per day. We cherish his curiosity so spend most of our day explaining surroundings to Caden:) He LOVES anything electronic...maybe because I am so strict on the no TV rule???
This story is more for me when I look back at our blog book and remember the silly things - I took the kids to Target on our way home from the Butterfly Pavilion one day. I should have known better because it was lunchtime, but I just needed a few things. Caden was difficult the whole time (whining, grabbing random stuff and throwing it on the floor or into the cart). He jumped out of the cart as I was paying and when I went to retrieve him, I found that he had bitten off a few Rolos and was going for a Snickers. I was not super excited to get back in line to pay for them, but at least he has good taste in candy:) The teenage girl behind me (the first time) gave me a pretty nasty look and said "wow, when I have kids, they will NEVER eat candy, let alone candy that has not been paid for." Ha! Just had to smile at that one:)
Caden's social calendar is quite packed! Here he is at a play date with our friends Harper and Huck:)
Justin is building our fence! He and Papa let Cado drive the Dingo. Machines, dirt, man time.....this kid was in HEAVEN!
