Andie and I at the ER waiting for the doctor:)
Greenstick fracture on both her tibia and fibula
Kira and Emma taking care of Andie at Caden's last T-ball game.

Justin took two days off of work to help me keep Andie off her leg and come to the pediatric orthopedic appointment. We took advantage of some time with Dad and headed to the zoo. Of course Justin bought his little girl cotton candy at the zoo! Please notice Landen trying to sneak a taste:)
She got her cast on and we had to take her for her favorite treat.......pink donut, purple cast!

Driving untie Mana's new car!
So many friends and family members brought Andie puzzles, toys, coloring books, flowers, treats....she was a spoiled little girl! Here she is playing with the Minnie Mouse dress-up set that Great Grandma and Grandpa sent:)
They had us come back after one week to see how things were healing. Justin came to all of her appointments....we're SO grateful for his office staff and patients who re-scheduled so that he could be with Andie.
We thought she might be able to walk after this appointment, but she had to stay off it for two more weeks!:(
The x-ray with the cast:)
Daddy and Andie waiting to get the cast cut off!
Sawing the cast off!:)
Looking better!
After 3 weeks Andie was able to walk, but had to keep the boot on at all times, other than when she was bathing:) We were SO excited to have her walking, scooting, and taking regular baths!
After 3 weeks in the boot, we took her in for one last check-up with the pediatric orthopedist. She was all healed up!!!
Landen and Caden joined me for Andie's last appointment to get her boot off. I had to wake Landen up from his nap so I gave him a rice roll to keep him happy.....it was SO messy!
We're excited to have Andie back to running, jumping, scooting, and being her silly self:)
