Landen @ 1

Hard to believe that this happy, sweet little man is ONE! Landen has been such a sweet blessing and we couldn't love him more! His toothless grin, adorable chuckle, and easygoing nature have made him the perfect addition to our family. Here are the stats from his 12 month appointment yesterday  (8/29):

Height - 30.5 inches (74th percentile)

Weight - 22 pounds, 3 ounces (63rd percentile)

Head Circumference - 18.25 inches (57th percentile)

Landen ADORES his siblings! He and Caden are already best buds. Nobody can make Landen laugh like Caden (and Justin!). Andie is always kissing and hugging him - sometimes a little much for Landen. He is a guys-guy, always loving to be held by and hanging out with the boys/men. You know we love nicknames in this house - we call him Lando, Lando-man, Manzo, and Landimal:)

Landen's favorite toys are balls. He could throw/push, chase, and put them in his mouth all day long. Landen also loves to snuggle and wrestle stuffed animals, chew on the play food, push shopping carts and climb stairs. He is not walking yet, but has been free-standing for a few weeks:) He also loves to hold hands and walk and cruise along furniture.

Landen literally eats everything. He hasn't refused ANYTHING! It's hard to tell, but his favorites seem to be strawberries, cheese sticks, and oatmeal. We are working on weaning....down to a morning and bedtime feeding. Justin can't wait until I'm done nursing so that he can put Landen to bed at night. Even though I've been pregnant or nursing since June of 2010 (more than five years!), weaning is a little bitter sweet since he's our last little one.

Landen says Dada and Mama all day long. He also says "dis" (this). He is in size 4 diapers and is transitioning into 18 month clothes. Landen is and always has been a champion sleeper. Here is his schedule at a year:
