Baby Raegan

I had the amazing privilege of being able to watch our newest niece Raegan Lou Greenhoe make her entrance into this world on October 29. Omi and Poppi were already in California, and I had a plane ticket for the following weekend, but TT was having lots of contractions on Thursday, October 26. She had also had an appointment with her doctor, and he said that if she hadn't gone into labor by Friday, she could call and come in to have her water broken.  Justin insisted that I get out there ASAP so we bought my plane ticket at 8:35 and I was on a plane by 10pm Thursday night! We hung out Friday and Saturday, and I was set to leave on Sunday when TT's doctor called her in. I changed my ticket to Monday morning on our way to the hospital at the insistence of Justin...thank goodness!

I got to spend a few days with this cutie:)

TT made us the most delicious homemade waffles!

Em loves her Poppi!

My little morning visitor:)

We arrived at the hospital and TT had her water broken around 1:40. She actually braided my hair right after I took this picture:)

Being a champ working through contractions!

Poppi stayed back with Em - they went for a bike ride, watched a movie, and had ice cream! I went to grab us some food around 2:00 and Brando, Omi, and I ate Noodles and Company. We hung out for a few hours, walking and talking. Then things started to get real and Raegan Lou Greenhoe was born at 6:31pm. It was truly incredible to watch the miracle of childbirth:)

Here is Little Rae getting measured with Dad after some skin-to-skin time with Mom:)

The happy parents with their new little lady!

Raegan weighed the exact same as Em!

Holding Daddy's finger:)

Daddy's little girl!

SO sweet! Omi and I went to grab TT's favorite Thai food to feed the hungry Mama....and the rest of us too:)

Such an amazing experience!

Sweet little Raegan Lou!

My little niece!

The nurse in the postpartum unit was sweet enough to put my name on the board so I had to take a picture;)

Rae getting her first diaper change:)

I am so grateful to TT and Brando for allowing me to take part in such a special moment! Justin was seriously amazing - he coached two soccer games, shuttled/cheered at two basketball games, created an awesome trunk for trunk or treat, and was super dad through it all! Grams was also instrumental in allowing me to change my flight, as she watched Andie and Landen until I got home on Monday morning:)
